DEMOCRACY - DEAD IN THE WATER!

2008 - Birth of a UK PARISH COUNCIL in Westminster

Black Wednesday (5 March 2008) has left DEMOCRACY high and dry, with a Labour Government, hell-bent on abdicating responsibility for self-rule, denying citizens a vote on the Lisbon Amending (Constitution) Treaty. A Conservative motion for a vote (as indicated in all manifestos at the last election) was defeated, and a pathetic sit-in by most Liberal Democrats contributed to the result. Hypocrisy won the day - roll on the next election, but when you see Labour's Manifesto do not believe a word they say unless it is written back-to-front. Even then view it with cynicism. One high-ranking pro-European said in interview on this day, "TRUST YOUR POLITICIANS". Must think we are a load of idiots to trust many of those we have at the moment.

Watch the European steam roller pick up speed and Brown's RED LINES will change colour faster than a plane going through the sound barrier.

ENGLAND REST IN PEACE - or could be ashes!

UK Cost to play in Europe!

Figures quoted are ESTIMATES, but bear in mind the European Union operates without Audited Accounts.

Information here has been modified following detail received from an NPC colleague and after viewing footage at this link - www.NoRemoteControl.org.
(9 minutes 16 seconds into footage).

£14.2 billion per annum CONTRIBUTED and increasing.

£4 billion returned to fund EU projects - THIS IS OUR MONEY COURTESY OF THE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM WE ARE LOCKED INTO. WHAT PRICE STUPIDITY - WHAT COST SANITY?

Additional REBATE surrendered by Blair in 2007. This was in return for Chirac's 'promise' that France would re-negotiate the Common Agricultural Policy. Both have disappeared from the scene and this subject is no longer raised!

So what about the French contribution?

Approximately 98% is returned them, with a large amount being payed to their farmers. What a deal - no way they will let this go. BRITAIN HAS BEEN MUGGED ONCE AGAIN.

£300 billion total contribution to date.

£66 billion returned to spend directly in UK.

----------

Additional information from MEP:

£60.1 billion/annum is estimated cost for implementing EU directives in Public and Private sectors of Britain.

If we add all of this to the following recently reported figures in my local newspaper, question is "what is the hidden agenda"?

A total of £878 million to Africa, India and China - the last two taking our industry and jobs.

What a mess supported by some of those who asked for your cross against their names on the ballot paper, but didn't add "so that we can take you for idiots and sell you down the river"!

5 February 2008 - amended 17 April 2008.

"No way" is the message from political hypocrites. The big Labour manifesto con, combined with deftness of their European masters using the 'waiting-game' technique, has left our political lackeys trying to fend off calls for government to honour its pledge. It has developed into a war of attrition, and ministers are determined to impose their self-opinionated doctrines. The Westminster debate has started and government spokespersons' attempts to defend their actions in opening sessions were both pitiful and pathetic. At best they should be paid in Mothercare vouchers for their efforts.

REFERENDUM!

Ahead of the Lisbon summit, the TREATY (a so-called alternative to the proposed CONSTITUTION rejected by Dutch and French referendum votes), government 'big-guns' are lining up to tell us that UK citizens do not need an opportunity to voice their opinion. Harriet Harman is one of the latest, and now Mandelson is reported to have said "Britain needs to reach a swift agreement on EU Reform and avoid a poisionous debate over its ratification". He has described new proposals as "a sensible agenda for effective working of the EU" which would allow Britain to pool some powers with its neighbours in order to maximise its global influence. Beautiful, all-embracing words that provide scope to allow political egotists to do as they please, if given the chance. COULD IT BE THAT HE FEARS 'GRAVY ON THE TRAIN' WILL DRY UP AND MORE ABDICATION OF RESPONSIBILITY TO FACELESS, UNELECTED EUROCRATS WILL BE STOPPED IN ITS TRACKS?

DO WE WANT ONE - YES

Blair told the electorate of this country that there would be a referendum on a new European Constitution, and then waited until the dust had settled. This gave european protagonists breathing space to develop an alternative that would still fulfil their aims - TO PUT THIS COUNTRY UNDER THEIR THUMBS. The blood wars, fought to preserve freedom, will count for nothing if our feeble-minded politicians continue to surrender control of Britain's affairs to Brussels. Blair has gone, with one of his cohorts, Gordon Brown taking over. He in turn is saying NO REFERENDUM. Of course this is not the first time that Brown has been part of the propaganda, spin, deceit machine. Pensioners were conned by his words about wanting to end means testing during a speech in 1993. Brown believes that the European question should be handled by Westminster - THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF MAKING A CONSTRUCTIVE DECISION - ABDICATION OF THIS COUNTRY'S INTERESTS IS NOT AN OPTION - THE CITIZENS HAVE GOT TO HAVE THEIR SAY.

DO WE WANT A REFERENDUM? EMPHATICALLY YES.

SOLD DOWN THE RIVER.

Like it or loathe it, we are part of it. I feel sure that many citizens do not know the extent of UK's commitment or benefits/disadvantages that membership provides. It often appears that satisfying political egotists is the underlying reason, and that they have developed a monster controlled by unelected bureaucrats. Abdicators of responsibility turned into puppets of the system - who knows?

Those pulling the strings in the Union wanted a new Constitution that would have further undermined individual states to govern their own affairs. Emphatic votes against it by Holland and France made them think again. Prime Minister Blair insulted the intelligence of UK citizens by declaring this action negated any need for his promised referendum in this country. Furthermore he surrendered our rebate against Chirac's 'empty' promise to reconsider Frances position with regard to benefits they get from the Common Agricultural Policy. They have both now left office making that exercise a useless gesture - A BIG CON.

One of Blair's last acts in June 2007 was to support resurrection of the Constitution in the guise of a Treaty that would be continually reviewed, amended and updated. More power to Europe by the back door? Once again he capitulated and supported something that he thought gave him an excuse to renege on his referendum promise - THE BIG CON.

Just one thought regarding the so-called benefits. When you see the signs stating that projects have been funded or supported by Europe, consider where the money has come from - your own pockets! This is merely a return from the massive amounts we pay to subsidise other countries and the Eureaucrat gravy train - money that could be used to support the Post Office system, provide fair State Pensions, reduce the horrendous levels of Council Tax and much more.

PENSIONS ACROSS EUROPE.

Given that we are part of the 'monster', we need to consider our position in the Pensions League. General concensus amonst campaigners and activists is that, as citizens of the fourth largest world economy with riches to match, our State Pension fails to reflect this situation. Impression is that a fair share of economic benefit is only an option for selected groups, and UK Pensioners are way down the pecking order. Some are obviously doing well and you need look no further than MP salaries, expenses and pensions to see an example of where benefits have been accrued.

It is difficult to obtain current figures for State Pensions throughout Europe, but attempts are continuing to obtain data. Historical figures that I have seen certainly placed UK pensions way down the league.

more detail as it becomes available.
